Posted 1/24/22

Wanted: community-minded residents in the NVUSD/Napa Valley and American Canyon boundaries who are interested in serving on a public committee to provide oversight for the Napa Valley Unified School District’s General Obligation Bond (Measure H). The independent Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC) is a group of dedicated volunteers who actively review and report on the proper expenditure of taxpayer money for school construction.

New Members Needed as Seat Terms Expire

We are pleased to have many dedicated and qualified members already on the committee but need to fill new seats as several of our members’ terms are expiring.

Any local resident is invited to serve on the CBOC committee. You do not need to be a parent of a NVUSD student.

Apply Today!

If you are interested please see our COBC webpage for guidelines and to fill out the CBOC Application.

No school district employee or official of the school district or any vendor, contractor, or consultant of the School District may serve on the committee.  All applicants must reside within Napa Valley Unified School District.  There is no compensation for the service.  Meetings are usually scheduled every other month.  Members serve two-year minimum terms.

NVUSD is thankful for the service and hard work of all our members, current and past, and looks forward to welcoming new community members to keep the public informed of our Measure H progress.
