Food Services
Welcome to Nosh!
NVUSD is committed to providing healthy foods with the highest quality ingredients to the students in our district. We have implemented a clean-label initiative, in partnership with the Life Time Foundation, which helps schools remove what it calls the Harmful 7 from student breakfast and lunch menus:
Our team of dedicated food service professionals supports student academic success and promotes healthful eating habits that lead to lifelong positive nutrition practices. |
Our school gardens are growing veggies for the cafeteria! In partnership with The School Garden Doctor and Napa Valley CanDo, members of the Napa Valley School Garden Network are growing a Garden-to-Cafeteria program.
The pilot, dubbed The Z Project, involves school and community gardens in growing, harvesting, and selling zucchini/summer squash to Napa’s Operative for School food Health (NOSH), the self-operating food service program in NVUSD.
